Little trip down memory lane . . . .

I used to have a Vintage clothing shop. It is now "closed" so that I can focus on jewelry... but here are my favorites from the past sold orders.

Fall Train

currently digging:

dark+ edgy bohemian, deconstructed forms, unfinished edges, raw texture, stormy colors: grey, charcoal, shimmery slate, soot black, damp earth, mud; mod monochromatic, gorgeous subtle drapes, long necklaces w/ baubles, little daggers, sticks, and points in clusters, tribal, vintage art deco jewelry, antique silver finish(esp. with turquoise). hrm, there's probably more.....

this outfit is crazy. it's pink and bubbly, features criss cross harness, is futuristic tech mod, soft and romantic and deconstructed all at the same time. sounds horrible but looks awesome.

not really digging:

flannel all over the place, neon (I've sworn off bright solids), leather & boots (doesn't match me unfortunately), and LARGE ruffles...

It's Monday

Monday's flame & fury reports:

"We're dumping on the rest of the world." exposing the poorest of areas with the most hazardous waste.

How (un)safe is your water bottle? stainless steel is great. keeps it crisp w/o scary nooks for bacteria such as spouts that fold down. (eep!)

I would've gone closer... but I got lazy and it was too hot.

I was watching Nova today about Supernovas and Black holes and how the Andromeda galaxy is hurtling itself towards our direction at 300,000 mph, and my thought was in complete agreement with the host of the show. When I become too old to do anything, I want to take a trip into a Black hole and see the amazing show. What a way to go.
